Los Angeles alternative metal act, Dirty Machine, have released their latest single “Against the World”, produced by Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Breaking Benjamin, Static-X, Pantera) and mastered by Joshua Wickman (King 810, Within the Ruins). Dirty Machine recently inked a worldwide deal with Zombie Shark Records and released their critically acclaimed debut album entitled, ‘Discord’.

Dirty Machine have been heralding the nu metal flag since 2012 and pull major influences from nu metal-era bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Nonpoint, Mudvayne and Sevendust. The band has been turning quite a few heads as they recently embarked on a U.S. tour with Insane Clown Posse and caught the attention of Fred Durst. The group also made headlines recently, following a public dispute with P.O.D.
Dirty Machine was also recently named by Alternative Press as one of the ten “up-and-coming heavy bands you need to check out".

Zombie Shark Records is pleased to announce the addition of The Rift from Los Angeles, California to the label roster. The band has released a wildly entertaining music video for the track “Rock Narcotic” directed by Moshpit Media. The single was produced by Amit Ofir and Daniel Brecher. The group is making plans to record their next upcoming full-length in the coming months.

The band is reminiscent of artists such as Muse, Highly Suspect, System of a Down, 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Keys, and Nothing More.

The Rift are a hard rock trio based out of Los Angeles with an edgy, driving twist on rock music. Traditionally, a rift is an open space. It’s a place of possibility and promise. Los Angeles hard rock trio THE RIFT lives up to its moniker.
Bassist John Anagnos remarks, “The name is the best way to describe the band, what we do, and the experience we portray live. The songs are meant to be an opening, and there’s a lot you can find within them.”
That openness has solidified the group - brothers Aris and John Anagnos, along with Ovais Malik [drums] - as one of Southern California’s most thrilling new rock upstarts. Since forming in 2009, the musicians have played alongside the likes of Exodus, Yngwie Malmsteen, The Misfits, and many more; as well as receiving nominations at the Hollywood Music Awards and Ventura County Music Awards. 2016’s full-length debut ‘Inventions’ crystallizes their one-two punch of technically intricate instrumentation and hypnotic hard rook hooks; evocative of Thirty Seconds To Mars, Stone Temple Pilots and Foo Fighters.
“We wanted to make songs that hit hard, but you can sing along to at the same time,” adds Aris. “Sometimes, we go bluesy-rock and other times there are tinges of punk/metal. We explore different styles while keeping a solid, real sound.”
Punctuated by longtime friend Ovais’s impenetrable percussion, it’s the familial bond between the brothers that brings another dimension to THE RIFT. “Being family helps with the collaborative process,” adds John. “We tend to think along the same lines. There’s a certain magic to it. If I was playing with anybody else, it wouldn’t necessarily be there. We’ve got something special.”
“We hope people can relate the songs,” concludes Aris. John leaves off, “I want listeners to escape from their reality for a little while. We want them to connect on a deep level, so they have something inspiring to fall into.”
The band performed a private VIP label showcase for Zombie Shark Records at Unfriendly Studios in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, March 3rd with label mates Dirty Machine (CA), Riksha (UT), JUNK (TX), and Natas Lived (Utah).

Jeffrey Nothing, also known as Jeff Hatrix (born Jeffrey Lewis Hetrick), formerly the haunting voice and co-founder behind Cleveland's pioneering alterna-metal and industrial collective MUSHROOMHEAD, has resurfaced with his solo project Jeffrey Nothing (also known as NOTHING). The brand new single and video, "Dead Space / Dead Inside" is OUT NOW. The track is available for download and across all streaming platforms.

Jeffrey Nothing has re-teamed up with fellow former MUSHROOMHEAD guitarist Thomas Church following their departure from the band this past March 2018. Also appearing is former MOTOGRATER and THE BROWNING drummer Noah "Shark" Robertson, as well as vocalist Ian D,
and bassist Kahler Hatrix from the band SKIN, among other members yet to be announced.
Produced and written by Jeffrey and Thomas Church and mixed by Matt Johnson (Revelation Studios), NOTHING has again teamed up with acclaimed tattoo artist Tony Kelly to design the artwork accompanying the music. Drums were engineered at Dreadcore Productions with Joshua Wickman (King 810, Within the Ruins).
Nothing's distinct vocals had driven MUSHROOMHEAD's frightening and extreme performance style, garnered them an enormously devoted cult following and allowed them to sell more than one million albums worldwide.
Jeff released his debut solo album, "The New Psychodalia", in 2011 which included the single "Sin O' Cism". In 2013, Jeff starred in the movie "13th Sign". Jeff was also the singer of Cleveland-based thrash metal band HATRIX, as well as fronting the group PURGATORY in the mid-'80s.

The video was directed by John Gyllhamn and the track was mixed and mastered by Christian Svedin. The band takes influences from artists such as Slipknot, Machine Head, Chimaira, Devildriver, Mnemic, Hatebreed, and Unearth.
The band recently inked a deal with Zombie Shark Records and released their feature full-length album ‘The Venomous Mind’, recorded at JV Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The album was mixed and mastered by Christian Svedin (The Unguided, Vildhjarta, Imminence).
