I was going to wait a few more days as I had been asked about a month ago when I informed Chris I would be leaving flaw and starting a new band with Cory Britt Ryan jurhs Tommy Gibbons and Corey Sturgill but it appears Chris's drinking and lies have forced my announcement sooner I decided to leave flaw not only because Chris and his drinking had gotten out of control to the point I was having to prepare new musicians ever tour as they would quit each time volz pulled one of his drunken I think I'm GI Joe stunts I could go further into the issues but those who know us know the rest. I thought would be handled more professionally and without the lies as I was nice enough to hold off announcing I was leaving the band I created. I guess some things will never change but I should have known that. I appreciate all the fan support and even though it's not warranted I still wish my old friend Chris the best of luck. as for myself it was simply time to move on and I have been working with the aforementioned musicians on the new project tentatively entitled scars of The Unbroken. Cory Britt from breathing Theory is currently laying vocals and we should have samples up soon. the members of this new band are the most talented group I have ever worked with in the writing process and I can't wait 2 push this forward. more to come soon much love ... Motograter: "Desolation Tour" ft. Dirty Machine, Killset, & more!

November 17, 2017, 6:30pm - November 18, 2017, 2:00am

Youngblood Productions presents: MOTOGRATER: "The Desolation Tour" Sponsored by ROCK RAGE RADIO & AcropolisRpm LIVE PERFORMANCES BY... Motograter Dirty Machine Killset BangRoc (featuring members of Crazy Town) The Mendenhall Experiment Drop Mob Fight The Heathens Doors @ 6pm 21+ -about MOTOGRATER Motograter was formed in 1995 and is most well known for their namesake instrument the “Motograter”, a mysterious contraption designed with industrial cable, guitar pieces, and other components, to create a unique, low, distorted bass sound. The band is widely known for their image, notorious for covering themselves in tribal style body paint. The early stages of the group’s career consisted of heavy experimentation with industrial sounds, samples, and tribal drums. The band released two EP’s ‘Hugh Chardon’ and ‘Indy’ and in 2001 were signed to Sever Records, founded by Dez Fafara of Coal Chamber. The band’s sound continued to evolve, eventually incorporating a dark, groove-oriented guitar styling, that would help broaden the band’s appeal and reach a wider audience. In 2003, the band inked a deal with No Name/Elektra Records and released the highly acclaimed. self-titled album, ‘Motograter’, featuring Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch/Ghost Machine) on vocals. The song “Suffocate” was featured on the soundtrack to the film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The song “Down” is featured on the EA Sports video game Nascar Thunder 2004. Motograter toured on Ozzfest 2003. Motograter has toured with Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Chevelle, Disturbed, Ministry, Nothingface, Kittie, Mushroomhead, Cradle of Filth, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, Voivod, and many more. Motograter recently performed Knotfest 2014, alongside Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Danzig, Anthrax, and more; followed by National Tours with ILL NINO, DOPE, FLAW, AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE, AND HED PE. COMING 2017! EMP Label Group will release ‘Desolation’, Motograter’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, produced by Ahrue Luster (Ill Nino/Ex-Machine Head) and mixed by Joshua Wickman (Within the Ruins, KING 810). The album was engineered by Luster, Wickman, and Jon Berrier, and recorded atIllustrious Productions, Dreadcore Productions, and BlackPlate Productions. Pre-order at: www.empmerch.com More at: www.emplabelgroup.com Art for DESOLATION was created by Mister-Sam Shearon, who has created covers for comic books and graphic novels including Clive Barker’s HELLRAISER, Judge Dredd, The X-Files, Mars Attacks, KISS, and Clive Barker’s Books of Blood as well as artwork for some of the biggest names in rock music, such as Godhead, Ministry, Rob Zombie, Iron Maiden, Powerman 5000, Biohazard, American Head Charge, Rammstein, Fear Factory and Kill Devil Hill. Desolation marks the band’s first full-length album since the 2003 Elektra/No Name self-titled release featuring Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch) on vocals (Motograter is now fronted by James Anthony Legion (Deadform/The Breathing Process), and signing to EMP LABEL GROUP has brought that excitement full circle, according to label operations manager/A&R Director Thöm Häzäert. “I was actually in (the late) Steve Richards (No Name Records) office the DAY he signed Motograter. And he was SO excited, going on and on about this amazing new band he just signed, that made their own instrument (The Motograter) etc.. Steve was such a cool and infectious guy, and brought such an amazing energy to everything he did, and to this day, that stuck with me. And now to be able to come back full circle and put out Desolation on EMP, all these years later, and kinda continue that legacy with the current lineup, is really an amazing middle to the story. These guys have worked SO hard for so long, and it is an honor to sign a band that works as hard as MOTO does. Motograter, literally, should be the blueprint any hard touring independent band should follow.” MOTOGRATER drummer Noah “Shark” Robertson adds, “We are honored and very proud to be working with David Ellefson, Thom Hazaert, and everyone else at EMP Label Group. We have fought tooth and nail to bring people new Motograter music. We can’t wait to unleash this voracious beast that is ‘Desolation’ upon the masses.” Additionally, Motograter has signed an exclusive deal with JLS Artist Management. JLS is run by former Rock Ridge Music label president Jason Spiewak. Spiewak says “We are stoked to have this opportunity to work with Motograter. These guys are road dogs, ready to work hard and deliver a great record”. James Legion – Vocals Matthew “Nuke” Nunes – Guitar Jesse Stamper – Guitar Mylon Guy – Bass Noah “Shark” Robertson – Drums Dustin “Skunk” Anderson – Motograter

Natas Lived have released an official music video for the track "The One To Walk Away" produced by InglewoodFilms, featuring footage from the FEAR LEVEL movie.

Natas Lived recently inked a worldwide deal with Zombie Shark Records, the new label from Motograter/Ex-The Browning drummer, Noah “Shark” Robertson. Their ‘We Are The Grey’ EP was recorded and produced by Dan Whittaker (Chelsea Grin, The Used, Vampires Everywhere) and Bucket at High Vibe Studios. The band pulls heavy influence from acts such as Static-X, Coal Chamber, Korn, Combichrist, Ministry, and NIN.

Natas Lived has shared the stage with Fear Factory, Mushroomhead, Spineshank, Otep, Orgy, Dope, Powerman 5000, Sid Wilson of Slipknot, Doyle, Motograter, American Head Charge, Angelspit, The Great Americon, Gemini Syndrome, Genitorturers, PHILM, Butcher Babies, Infected Mushroom, Blood On The Dance Floor, and more.

Natas Lived is the brainchild of founder, Justin Dummar, also known as DJ Context. As a DJ, he has performed with acts such as Cosmic Gate and Voodoo & Serano. Dummar is the grandson of Melvin Earl Dummar, a Utah man who earned attention when he claimed to have saved reclusive business tycoon Howard Hughes in a Nevada desert in 1967. Dummar’s claims resulted in a series of court battles and after Hughes’s death in April 1976, a handwritten will was discovered in the Salt Lake City, Utah headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Though purportedly written by Hughes in 1968, the will had many strange discrepancies. The will left one “Melvin DuMar” of Gabbs, Nevada one-sixteenth of Hughes’s estate. Dummar’s story was later adapted into Jonathan Demme’s film Melvin and Howard in 1980.
